Tenjaku Whisky is a melodious blend of malt and grain whiskies, masterfully distilled and blended in Japan.
Using only natural ingredients, carefully selected unprocessed whiskies and pure, naturally volcanic filtered spring water are expertly blended to create this distinctive whisky that embodies that harmony derived from Japanese nature and craftmanship.
Tenjaku is created in the city of Fuefuki , located in the eastern part of the Kofu Basin in Yamanashi Prefecture.
This fertile land encircled by soaring peaks, with the Chichibu mountains rising to the north and the Misaka range to the south, is renowned as Japan’s top peach and grape producing region.
Looking towards Mt. Fuji and the Southern Alps, it is a place blessed with boundless nature, with verdant forests, beautiful orchards, hot springs, and crystal clear streams.
On the rocks, experience the smooth and unique mellowness of Tenjaku, followed by a generous, sweet aftertaste or try some traditional Japanese serve styles:
‘Mizuwari’: a highball, cut with ice cold soda to release the sweet smoky aroma that bursts from the soda bubbles. This refreshing drink is often drunk at mealtimes as a low alcohol alternative to wine or beer.
‘Oyuwari’: simply cut with hot water. Perfect in the cooler winter months.

Pronounced ‘Oi-ooo-wah-wee’, it translates as ‘cut with hot water’. This simple serve style is a common way of drinking shochu in Japan, however it also works well with whisky enabling it to show case its distinctive flavours.
Pronounced ‘Miz-ooo-wah-wee’, it translates as ‘cut with cold water’. It is a long refreshing highball mixing whisky and soda on ice, it is often served at mealtimes in Japan as a low alcohol alternative to beer or wine.
A twist on a traditional whisky sour, this cocktail combines both clementine zest and lemon juice which really complements the spiciness of Tenjaku blended whisky. For additional spice, dust with cinnamon to serve.
